Abstract :
A information management system was designed and implemented based on the ArcGIS Server Web ADF. The system is a WebGIS with three-tier B/S structure. It realizes the integrated storage and management of spatial data and attributes data, and the share, analysis and visualization of spatial information. The paper introduced the system structure and function design, and described the method of constructing database, the method of asynchronous updating client data using the callback mechanism, locally and dynamically updating method of the ArcGIS Server map cache, and online editing method of spatial data based on the Web ADF JavaScript Library in detail. The paper provides a reference for urban environmental protection departments to develop similar pollution source management information system.
