Abstract :
This paper presents a data transmission mechanism between the Trusted Platform Control Module (TPCM) and motherboard of host PC via Peripheral Component Interconnect Express (PCIe). The main task contains framework, a finite-state machine, a Linux driver and system testing. Embedded in Design Wave Core (DWC), the Directional Memory Access (DMA) produces measured transfer speeds up to 149MBps for reading and 145MBps for writing, which can content the requirements of the TPCM for high-speed data transmission bandwidth.
