Abstract :
A hybrid learning algorithm based modified particle swarm clustering for RBF neural network was proposed. Firstly to confirm the positions of hidden layer RBF centers using modified particle swarm clustering algorithm, then to train the RBF neural network and get the output layer weights by least square method. The new algorithm was used for pattern classification, function approximation and system identification and the results show that this algorithm is simpler and has high precision and efficiency.
