  • Abstract
    Since new-energy vehicles, electric buses have many advantages, they are more and more popular now. As the core component of the electric bus, power battery pack safety and reliability are highly demanding. Working in the complicated vehicular environment, as the carrier of the battery pack and the vehicle body, the structural design rationality and reliability of battery box are very important. Mechanical analysis, constraint modal analysis and frequency response analysis with finite element model simulation, and vibration test research in different conditions for the battery box were studied in this paper. Through the study of theory and test, distribution of weak spots, failure modes of the battery box and failure strengthening test condition were achieved. The research results provide basic and reference for the structural design improvement of the battery box.
