The Design and Development of Incentive Teaching System Based on VBA

The essence of incentive teaching is to bring students´ initiative into full play while the teaching method is inflexible now. While the scoring procedures remain unchanged which cannot reflect the students´ real participation levels in class. An incentive teaching system has been made on the "square-root with 10 times", a classical scoring method. The rank of contribution percentage is also taken to encourage competition between students and VBA is used to increase the level of automation in the system. From the analysis of practices, participation in class has increased and initiative after class has been stimulated.
