Abstract :
Steganography is the technique of hiding the existence of a secret message using a cover image. The secret message is embedded in the cover image and the resultant image is known as the stego image. The secret message to be embedded can be of any form like audio, image etc. In this paper a transformed version of adaptive pixel pair matching (APPM) is used for image steganography. The proposed method offers lower distortion than the conventional APPM technique. It has lower mean square error for various payloads. Based on various experimental results, it has been shown that the capacity of images used for embedding is increased with reduced distortion.
