Abstract :
Commercial enterprises are utilizing gas detector or sensor network to detect the concentration of different gasses present in the environment, additionally it is used to identify the presence of toxins gasses in order to give high state of security. To guarantee good security the requirement of gas sensor or detector sensitivity and accuracy is getting increased, and numerous gas sensors are normally having temperature sensitivity and cross sensitivity. Sensor information fusion is utilized for modern applications to get high proficiency. A portable Multifunctional gas is used, which can recognize the presence of O2, CH4, CO, and H2S. It is using ultralow-power MCU MSP430, to get high power efficiency. Temperature compensation is used for assumption of temperature effect in sensor also to improve the methods for a nonlinear assumption. The experiment is conducted to check the cross sensitivity between the sensors. The experimental result shows that this method efficiently reduce the cross sensitivity influence on the sensor. Measurement accuracy is enhanced by one to two orders of magnitude by using the surface fitting algorithm. These conclude that this design is stable and it is having good accuracy as well.
