Abstract :
This article consists of a collection of slides from the author´s conference presentation on Toshiba´s Visconti2, a heterogeneous multi-core system-on-chip (SoC) for image recognitions applications. Some of the specific topics discussed include: the special features and system specifications of Visconti2; image recognition technology and applications for its use; assisted driver systems that deploy image recognition systems; Visconti2 chip architecture; applications that use Visconti2 technologies; pedestrian detection and gesture recognition for CoHOG recognition; and future areas of technological development for the Visconti2 product line.
