Abstract :
Aeronautic industry in the Andalusian region (Southern Spain) boasts a splendorous situation with the recent investments in the A380 and A400M programs. The evolution of the current Extended Enterprise structure to an advanced cooperative scenario is being promoted as a competitive instrument towards the consolidation of the cluster on the European market of military transport aircraft. This paper is focused on the ongoing projects and trends of the cluster to enable the collaborative paradigm. It presents the approach to identifying the challenges and barriers for its internationalisation. Secondly, it provides an overview of the actions and results that have been accomplished to date. As conclusions, it shows the planned steps to implement the collaborative paradigm, and thus improve the competitiveness in the global aeronautic market.
