Abstract :
This study aimed at developing a model of a research methodology to ensure quality control of the design and production of field researches and studies in the field of eLearning. The idea for the study emerged as a result of gaps, and the difficulties faced by researchers and practitioners in the field of eLearning to monitor the effective and ineffective field practices in this area. It was found from analyzing a sample of researches and studies (n = 200) conducted in the field of instructional technology and eLearning during last five years (2010 - 2015) that the vast majority of these researches and studies (70%) are traditional, either it was experimental quasi-experimental or developmental research, and therefore these researches and studies lack indicators to ensure the quality of the field and reflect the desired outcomes. To solve this problem, the researcher developed a list of indicators to ensure quality control of field researches and operational researches in the field of eLearning. This list contains ten major indicators with multi-relative weights. The study also suggested an orbital methodology to design and produce eLearning field researches. The proposed methodology contains four stages: Identify, Investigate, Prototype, and Distribute. Achieving of these steps requires the adoption of a mechanism based on four dialogues, going complementary and networked during the course of answering every question from the patterns of the six questions: what, who, when, where, how, and why?
