  • Abstract
    This article consists of a collection of slides from the author´s conference presentation on silicon photonics and memory management. Some of the specific topics discussed include: processors scaling to many core systems, 1980 - 2020; forecasts of circuit design and processing capabilities; CMOS photonics; optical-based networking capabilties; system organization and die supporting core nodes; and future areas of development for photonics into chip designs.
