Abstract
The main idea of the presented approach consists in looking at ITER more as a global integrated system and less as a set of components. In addition to the “classical” progress indicators (design reviews, etc.), our approach introduces new indicators in an attempt to “convert” the concept of design maturity in the evaluation of the system maturity. The approach is ongoing and this paper focuses on the lessons learned over the past 1.5 years.
