Abstract :
An enhanced current controlled instrumentation amplifier is presented. This structure, that requires no external passive component, is implemented from two simplified second generation current controlled conveyors and an active resistance. The proposed amplifier offers several features over current mode instrumentation amplifiers presented in the literature. It is characterized by wide bandwidth, high common mode rejection ratio, adjustable gain, high input impedance and low output offset voltage. These characteristics are confirmed by the simulation results made in PSPICE and are compared to others presented in the literature to confirm the improvement brought.
