TOP-DOWN collaborative design for radar system

The demand for collaboration between specialties is proposed in order to improve the efficiency of electronic products development. As for the structural design of radar system, a concept of TOP-DOWN collaborative design based on PDS platform is employed to realize coordinative development among various specialties and different departments. This paper mainly presents key points about procedures and specifications during 3D collaborative design by means of CREO 2.0 software on PDS platform. The discussion involves aspects of coordination system, framework model and process of collaborative product design.
