Abstract :
The Top-down design method of a certain mobile radar antenna array is proposed in this paper. Using classical mechanics to solve the maximum stress and deformation of the antenna array in the static working condition is considered as the optimization constraint condition and the mass of the antenna array is the optimization object. Then the mathematic model is build. Using genetic algorithm to do the first optimization design, the initial structure parameters is obtained. By using APDL of ANSYS system to establish a parameterized finite element model further and considering the static condition and dynamic condition, the antenna structure parameters could be get in the second optimization. Top-down design is conducted in the design of a certain type of mobile radar. And the optimization result is compared with the existing result of this radar. It shows that the Top-down method in this paper is reasonable and the lightweight effect is obvious.
