Abstract
This paper deals with dynamic sliding mode control (DSMC) of partially linear chaotic systems. Control action is divided in two parts, first part acts as feedback linearization term while second part is used to stabilize the system to a desired unstable equilibrium point. Dynamic Controller is obtained by adding an integrator to the original system which results in reduced chattering and a better performance. Time derivative of static sliding surface is used as new switching surface. A single control structure has been employed to control all the states. Simulation results using MATLAB verify the feasibility of this method for partially linear chaotic system.
