Abstract :
In this work, the design method for a broad-band stacked patch antenna design having multiple parameters has been proposed. This design method is capable to output physical parameters of stacked patch antenna geometry for any impedance bandwidth within 20%-45% with any centre frequency within 1 GHz-10 GHz. For designing these antennas, optimized parameters are size of two patches, width of air-layer, feed point location and parameters of E-shape patch like slot width, slot length, and slot position. Responses from the developed optimizers have been compared with the outcome of IE3D electromagnetic simulator and experimentally tested antenna.
