Abstract :
Survey on published authoritative journals show that the global incidence ratio of acrophobia from 2014 Frdrikson is 6.3% for males and 8.6% for females, indicating that acrophobia has become a globally recognized disorder disease. Including heights specific phobia treatment is an important tool in acrophobia treatment. Especially, the exposure therapy is very effective in the actual scenes of terror down to reduce the horrors. For the exposure therapy, we use computer image of the virtual reality system to reproduce the scene in the height of suspension bridge and virtual reality exposure effect of the transparent elevator. Results show that, there is not obvious difference between two treatment conditions, which indicates that the virtual reality model is effective to use and may gradually replace the on-the-spot feeling in the field.
