Abstract :
Currently, the worldwide open and distance education institutions are carrying out teaching reform measures continuously to ensure open education quality, while teaching reform courses examination data analysis results will be able to reflect open education teaching reform effectiveness objectively. So Wilcoxon Rank Sum Test based examination data analysis scheme is proposed in this paper to detect examination data change of open education teaching reform courses. Wilcoxon Rank Sum Test is an effective Hypothesis testing method, which can deduce significant change of collectivity average value according to sample data by proposing hypothesis. It doesn´t need to know collectivity distribution, but only allows collectivity distribution has a shift at most. Changing situations of five indices data for seven teaching reform courses in China Open University system are detected effectively by proposed scheme. These analyzing results would be valuable for promoting open education teaching reform.
