Abstract :
VSC-Multi-Terminal Direct Current (VSC-MTDC) system is much more controllable and economic. In this paper, at the beginning, the paper introduces the connection mode of VSC-MTDC system, then the design of VSC-MTDC system controller is studied, in which a new multi-point constant DC voltage control method is proposed, and the effectiveness of this control method is validated by the analysis of theory and the test of simulation. Constant DC and AC voltage controller is implemented respectively for source side and loads side, and which is for the high quality power supply. What is more, the control law is in the local mode and it is not complex. All of the merits make the control strategy more practical.
