Abstract
All optical thresholder overcomes the electronic bandwidth limitations and can enable date rate detection for high speed optical communication. In this paper, we proposed and experimentally demonstrated a novel all-optical thresholder which is flexible to adjust the power transfer function and power transmission function. To best of our knowledge, this is the first experimental demonstration of a novel all-optical thresholder which can support optical self-switching and thresholding simultaneously.
