Abstract :
Low power levels of global navigation satellite system (GNSS) signals make them susceptible to radio frequency interference (RFI). Mutual coupling in conventional array within finite size may worsen the interference mitigation performance. In this paper we propose a switch array in which all elements are connected with one switch. Then with the synchronization of switching time and logic, elements are sequentially switched, mutual coupling between elements can be minimized by connecting the “off” elements to open-circuit. Simulation confirms that the mutual couple of a switch centre-symmetric circular array which consists of 6 elements distributed uniformly on the circumference of the radius of 0.3 times of wave length is less than -15dB. Switch array can miniaturize the array effectively.
