  • Abstract
Large area haze events has caused great damage to power network equipments in electric system in recent years. In this study, we adapted advanced meteorological and air pollution numerical prediction method, built a meteorological and chemical coupling air pollution model system that based on the safety of power network equipment. Focusing on heavy haze weather, we simulated the status of air pollution in Jiangsu province from Oct.2014 to Jan.2015. And for the PM10, PM2.5 which affect the safety of electric power sector transmission lines, we did preliminary model forecast verification for their particulate matter concentrations. Our research had shown that: the current numerical model could well simulate daily average concentration form Oct.2014 to Jan.2015.
