Abstract
S-transform is a powerful tool for time-frequency filter. However, the conventional inverse S-transform (IST) algorithm suffers from time or frequency leakage and higher computational complexity during time-frequency filter. In this paper, we proposed a novel fast matrix inverse S-Transform (FMIST) algorithm to improve these problems. First, based on the discrete S-transform, the matrix S-transform (MST) and the matrix IST (MIST) are derived. Then, the performance of time-frequency filter and computational complexity among different algorithm are analyzed and compared. At last, the proposed approach applies to magnetocardiogram (MCG) denoising. The results suggest that the proposed FMIST algorithm can avoid time-frequency leakage effectively, and it has lower computational complexity in filtering than the conventional methods. Illustrative examples verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
