Abstract :
Before measuring a multiport DUT (device under test), we should calibrate multiport VNA to reduce the systematic errors. It is import to reduce the calibrating steps. The paper explores a new method to decrease calibrating steps by computing redundant error parameters. This method can decrease through connections from Cn2 to n-1, reduce errors of repeating connections, and avoid operation mistakes. This method can also avoid non-insertable calibration. The new method has been used successfully to measure an airline.
