Abstract :
Condition monitoring techniques are used in wind turbine especially for gearbox. A test rig is designed to demonstrate condition monitoring of wind turbine gearbox. The test rig is consisted of motor and gearbox. The gearbox of the test rig has the same structure as wind turbine gearbox. Vibration measurement method with sensor configuration of the test rig is discussed. Condition monitoring software is designed to receive data from vibration signal measurement and acquisition system. Condition monitoring software can analyze vibration signal online or offline. The diagnosis of low speed shaft unbalance of the test rig will be used as an illustrative example.
