Abstract :
Bifilar Helix Calculable Resistor(BHCR) is a kind of calculable standard resistor developed as the standard component which can make the AC resistance quantity value indirectly traced to Quantum Hall Resistance(QHR). For the purpose of improving the resistance stability of BHCR, a PSO-PID based temperature control method for the especially designed resistance box is presented in this paper. The temperature control system based on MSP430F149 and high precision digital temperature sensor Tsic506 is developed. Results of the trial indicated that DC resistance relative stability of BHCR has been improved from 1.5 ppm to 0.35ppm.
