Abstract :
Antenna performance measurement is an important research topic to improve the overall quality of terahertz radar system. An efficient antenna test system is necessary for high performance radar system. In this paper, a near-field terahertz beam waveguide feed cassegrain quasi-optical mono-pulse antenna test system is proposed according to the characteristics of high frequency of terahertz and the test difficulty of terahertz antenna. The and-differential comparator and feed system of our terahertz mono-pulse antenna system are in the structure of quasi-optical, which can reduces the energy transmission loss, simple structure, easy processing relative to waveguide structure when the electromagnetic wave propagates in space in beam bunching. The system is fixed on the quasi-optical table, and can test the performance of the antenna effectively. The system also realizes real time display and the automatic formatted storage. It is proved to run stably, have high reliability and meet the demand for actual applications.
