Abstract :
The far field intensity distribution measurement is an important content of performance evaluation for space laser communication, laser radar terminals. There are several beam profilers commercially available, but these systems are always used for small-aperture laser beam. This paper is mainly described how to measure the far field distribution for large-aperture laser beam of space laser communication terminals. There is a detailed introduction on the optical design of measuring system. The field of view, operating wavelength, focal length and aperture of camera lens are respectively introduced. The system provides a new way to measure large-aperture laser parameter, which has the advantage of high resolution for intensity distribution measurement.
