Abstract :
This paper describes the development of the introductory measurement experiment for the learners who are studying biomedical measurement, using National Instruments myDAQ and Vernier biomedical sensors. The learners measure the surface temperature, grip strength and heart rate by using the Surface Temperature Sensor, Hand Dynamometer and Hand-Grip Heart Rate Monitor, respectively. The learners also create the simplest measurement program and make the suitable bar charts with error bars to present the results of the measurements. The contents and evaluation of the developed measurement experiment are presented.
