Abstract :
In this paper, a reconfigurable three-way power divider constructed on unitary plane worked at 2GHz is proposed. The proposed circuit has total seven states in the three-way mode, the two-way mode and the single-way mode. The power divider is designed mathematically to have good matching performance and high isolation with novel reconfigurable impedance matching network and isolation impedance switch network. By adjusting the parameters of PIN diode under forward bias or reverse bias, both of networks can achieve different transmission states. For the three-way mode, insertion loss is about 4.87dB and the return losses of each port are higher than 25dB. For the two-way mode with three states, the insertion losses is about 3.2dB, the return losses of port1 and transmission ports are more than 25dB. For the single-way mode with three states, the insertion loss is about 0.2dB; the return losses of each port are higher than 28dB at 2GHz.
