Abstract :
Nervous system is one of the most complex networks known to mankind. An attempt in understanding and analyzing the functionalities of the nervous system would provide solutions to various problem pertaining in fields like medicine, robotics, ergonomics, bio-mechanics, medical research etc. Basic activities like rapid eye movements (Saccades), hand movements etc. are to be explored to understand the basic functionalities of complex nervous system. This paper will be aiming at analyzing the data obtained during the basic saccadic movements and hand movements. The kinematics of the saccades and the action potentials of the EMG signals that are generated during hand movements will be analyzed and the profiles and traits of these properties would be explained.
