Abstract :
With the advancement of power electronics for industrial and domestic use, the currents generated by equipments using this technology has been and still is, a subject of study and implementation of techniques for its high harmonic filtering and reactive content. Because of the limitations of existing techniques based on passive filters, a novel method for active filtering is presented in this work by reproducing unwanted currents and injecting these into a compensation node. Trials of the proposed models show effectiveness and efficiency in filtering with highly satisfactory results.
