Abstract :
This paper explains modelling design and control of a bidirectional dc-dc converter for EV applications. The provision for energy regeneration is achieved by using half bridge non isolated dc-dc converter. Small signal modelling of the system is done by the state space averaging technique. A PI controller has been implemented for the speed control. The soft switching technique has also been incorporated to minimize the switching losses. The system model has been simulated in the MATLAB/SIMULINK.
