  • Abstract
This paper presents design and analysis of dual input SEPIC converter. Time sharing switching scheme is used to generate the gating pulses for switching devices. This scheme is more flexible as it provides wide range and choice of input sources. Instead of using two single input converters for different power supplies, the use of a dual input SEPIC reduces the cost and losses. The results of output characteristics of the converter are satisfactorily in match with theoritical values. Number of inputs can be extentended for any `n´ values, thereby making it suitable for renewable energy applications. Simple and low cost zero- ripple filter technique at the load is suggested as a future scope of this work.
