  • Abstract
Usually Photovoltaic panel depends on two major parameters temperature(T) and irradiance(G). Many researchers have studied the effect of these two parameters on the performance of photovoltaic panel. Parasitic resistance of the PV panel has major impact on its performance which is often overlooked. Therefore, in this paper we have analysed the effect of parasitic resistance in solar photovoltaic panel for both uniform and non-uniform irradiance condition (PSC). Parasitic resistance consist of both shunt resistance (Rsh) and series resistance (Rs) in a solar cell. This paper consider four conditions at different solar irradiance for observing resistance impact in solar panel and its performance. The first three cases belongs to partial shaded condition and last case is for uniform condition. The variation of fill factor and efficiency of PV system is analysed using both simulation and experimental methods.
