Abstract
Multilevel inverters generate a level output voltage from DC voltage sources. Requiring nice range of semiconductor switches is main disadvantage of structure inverters. The structure inverters are divided in 2 groups: symmetric and Asymmetric converters. The Asymmetric structure inverters give an oversized range of output steps while not increasing the quantity of DC voltage sources and elements. Although the structure inverters hold engaging options, usage of a lot of switches within the standard configuration poses a limitation to its wide selection application. Therefore, a revived 7-level structure electrical converter topology is introduced incorporating the smallest amount range of unidirectional switches logic gate trigger electronic equipment, thereby making certain the minimum change losses, reducing size and installation value. The new topology is like minded for drives and renewable energy applications.
