Abstract :
Major challenge in the hyper speed networks is to handle the traffic along with the congestion to control which arises because of ample number of reasons. Congestion´s impact on network leads to data transmission delays along with loss of data, transmission time and performance of the channel. Proposed mechanism is a combination of Leaky bucket, Token bucket to balance the nodes and for transmission Ant colony optimization named MDBR. It can be proved that a successfully designed ant-algorithm will use shortest path when the network is capable of handling the packets, but when network faces congestion the load will be distributed and utilize over several short routes with inspiration of Leaky bucket technique. In the present paper we are going to discuss about the performance of new protocol which not only handles congestion but also transmits the data even when there exists various link failures on the network. The proposed protocol finds the congestion areas between transmitting nodes later it triggers to distribute the data by balancing the current congested node with inflow and outflow of the data packets to divert the excess traffic to other nodes existing on the shortest path of the transmission with a check of capability of the various nodes in the path.
