Abstract :
The main goal of this work is to develop a new smart joystick for electric wheelchair which provides an efficient and safe service for people with severe physical disabilities. These handicaps have difficulty to use the standard joystick because of their various levels of tremors. Based on neural networks, the new created joystick has good performances than the traditional one. These performances have been exposed by different experimental results.
