Abstract :
The applications that use the principle of Schottky Diode Detector, SDD, are varied and touch several domains. Radar system is one of these applications where SSD appears especially interesting and gives a strong renewal of gain. In this work, we give a general description on radar system, where the Schottky diode represents the detecting component; we describe also the characteristics current-voltage and capacity-voltage of Schottky diode based on GaAs and Inp semiconductors.
