Abstract :
This article proposes elaborating an optimal stabilization of large scale interconnected processes, whereas the nonlinear interconnection functions between subsystems are assumed to be norm bounded. Sufficient conditions derived from the asymptotic stability analysis and the optimal performances study of the designed control strategy are formulated within an optimization problem. Such a problem is resolved by an innovative one-step LMI procedure to calculate altogether the decentralized control and observation gains of the overall system, to maximize the nonlinear terms´ boundaries sustained by the process without going unstable, and also to compute the least higher limit of a prescribed rate of performance. The efficacy of the developed scheme is highlighted through simulations focusing upon the optimal stabilization of two strongly interconnected subsystems.
