Abstract :
An Antipodal Vivaldi antenna (A VA) with enhanced radiation characteristics for UWB applications is presented in this paper. By using of a triangular director with high permittivity in the end of the antenna aperture, the directivity, the beamwidth and the mutual decoupling are ameliorated over the wideband applications. In order to achieve a compact structure with higher gain and ameliorated mutual decoupling, 1×4 planar antenna array is proposed.
