Abstract :
This paper is devoted to the study and the simulate a five level inverter NPC for induction motor drive. To improve the preference of this inverter, the control strategy adopted is the PWM pulse with modulation. Several simulations were proposed by changing the PWM parameters m and r. To study the FFT harmonic spectrum several curves are plotted of the current, voltage and the calculation of THD distortions rates voltages and current. For study the inverter performance, the three phase five-level NPC inverter is simulation using PSIM and Matlab its performance is studied for induction motor load. The simulation results are analyzed and interpreted.
