Abstract :
The synchrotron radiation facility NewSUBARU has been constructed on the SPring-8 site and user experiments began in February 2000. The 1.5 GeV electron storage ring with a circumference of 119 m produces soft X-ray synchrotron radiation. The present status of the storage ring and the facility is presented
