  • Abstract
    In this paper, a four element quad band microstrip-fed multiple-input-multiple-output (MIMO) antenna system elements is presented. Each antenna element consists of two microstrip slots which are loaded with a split ring resonator (SRR) to achieve a quad band operation. The proposed MIMO antenna operates in the lower and upper WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network), WiMAX (Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access) and C band frequency range with satisfactory far-field gain and efficiency.
