Abstract :
In this paper a dual-band bandpass frequency selective surface (FSS) has been presented. The unit cell of the FSS structure comprises a tetra arrow shaped geometry printed on a dielectric substrate backed by a cross dipole. The proposed structure is polarization-insensitive and angularly stable (up to 60°) for both TE and TM polarizations. The surface current distributions at the transmission bands are also illustrated to explain the resonance of the proposed FSS structure. Finally, the proposed structure has been fabricated and the experimental results are in close proximity with the simulation responses.
