Abstract :
A quarter of a hemispherical dielectric resonator antenna (HDRA) has been reinvestigated in this paper to realize a composite configuration. A designer can have a degree of freedom in choosing the number of elements. A three-element configuration, excited with a common coaxial probe, has been examined in here for the first time indicating radiation pattern diversity with about 4 dBi peak gain in S-band over a wide operating bandwidth.
