Abstract :
In this paper, a printed wide slot antenna fed by a `L shaped´ Microstrip Line with hexagonal slot for Circular Polarized (CP) bandwidth enhancement is presented. The proposed antenna has 47 % CP bandwidth along with average gain of 5 dB. By tuning L shaped feed line properly, two CP modes are generated to produce a wide CP bandwidth. The area of the regular hexagonal slot is tuned such a way that the CP bandwidth is found to be within the impedance bandwidth.
