Abstract :
In this paper, implementation of Uniaxial Perfectly Matched Layer (UPML) boundary condition to efficiently analyse ultra-wide band (UWB) printed monopole antennas (PMA) using the three dimensional Finite Difference Time Domain (3D - FDTD) method are presented. A new design of UWB PMA is used for 3D UPML - FDTD implementation. The obtained solutions are compared with the results acquired from Ansoft HFSS software.
