  • Abstract
    Printed antennas are an attractive choice for USB dongle applications because of their low profile structure and omnidirectional behavior. This paper presents the design of a printed meander loop antenna for USB dongle applications. The meander loop antenna is printed over an FR4 substrate with relative dielectric constant 4.4 and of size 58× 23× 1.6 mm3, making it suitable for USB dongle applications. The performance of the meander loop antenna is compared with the conventional printed rectangular single loop and dual loop antennas.
